Just minding my own business...

I was inspired so to speak to write this blog because of something that happened to me today. I was driving to grab a subway before work, when this guy completely wanted to start a fight.
So heres what happened; I was coming off the main street into a parking lot with three stops signs and the people (me) coming of the main street had the right away. Well this guys decided that he was in a hurry and ran his stop sign. So I slowed down so I wouldn't hit him (I didn't honk or anything) and his lips clearly formed the words "f u" while passing me. So I flipped him off (which I probably shouldn't have done) because I felt that I was already being nice letting him go even though I did have the right away.
Well apparently you don't flip this guy off because he decides to go around the parking lot and when I get out of the car he is just a few feet away. Screaming at me and daring me to flip him off again.
Come on now... Like he really has nothing better to do then to go out of his was to sit there and yell at me when he was clearly in the wrong.
He finally leaves, and the light was red so he was yelling at me from the street. Threatening, and swearing at me like his life depended on it...
I was pretty upset about it for about an hour. It was the first time that has ever happened to me and hopefully the last. Stupid angry drivers! lol
I know we probably are all guilty of being a mean drivers that honks at slow people or people who are in too much of a hurry to care about who they cut off. I know I am. But todays experience showed me that not only is it not worth it. But you effect those people you are being rude to, and you don't know their story. You don't know why they are being slow or fast and maybe they don't even notice. So don't let it effect your day! :)

  1. Wow... I would have been scared. Good thing you are safe because you never know what people might do. I've heard of crazy stories... but as I said, thank goodness you are safe! *hugs*
